  • Declared Aeronautical Science major.
  • At least a second semester freshman (with a total of at least 12 ERAU credit hours).
  • A minimum cumulative and A.S. GPA of 3.2.
  • Must allow for at least a 2 semester commitment.

AOA recruits members at the beginning of every fall and spring semester. Applications are available on our website. We encourage and welcome all prospective members to attend our weekly meetings held every Tuesday evening at 1900 in the College of Aviation, room 139.

Applicants must provide ​a resume, cover letter, ​academic schedule, and ​unofficial transcript in ​addition to filling out the ​application.

We understand that our members have demanding schedules, including flight training/instruction, ROTC, and athletics. We hold a weekly mandatory meeting, which lasts an hour, along with occasional mandatory presentations and events.

In addition to meetings, members are required to participate in community service and fundraising activities. However, we offer flexibility in how these commitments are fulfilled. You can complete your required attendance points at your own pace throughout the semester, ensuring that you can balance your AOA responsibilities with your other commitments.
